We served the dishes below for most of the 15 years we were at Seaton Carew. We keep putting them on the menu every now and then.

 

Starters

ALGERIAN BOUREKS
Spicy minced beef fillet in crispy fillo pastry with spicy salsa
MUSHROOMS and PRAWNS
Sautéed in garlic butter with bacon and prawns
GRILLED SALMON SLICES 
Marinated and served with garlic mayonnaise
KING PRAWNS IN GINGER
Sautéed in an orange sauce with garlic butter and fresh ginger

Main Courses

SALMON IN FILLO PASTRY 
Escalope of fresh salmon in fillo pastry served in a creamy chive sauce with julienne of carrots and celery
CHICKEN ROSEMARY 
Boneless breast stuffed with garlic and parsley stuffing in a creamy sauce with garlic and rosemary
PAESANO 
Strips of fillet steak cooked in a creamy sauce with sage, garlic and a hint of mustard
ALGERIAN LAMB
Boneless loin of lamb served pink with raisins, sultanas, almonds, apricots, honey and cinnamon
ROSEMARY LAMB 
Boneless loin of lamb served pink in a Madeira sauce flavoured with rosemary and garlic
BELLINI 
Three small beef fillets served in a mushroom sauce with diced sweet peppers and cream
PEPPERED STEAK 
Prime fillet steak cooked in a cream sauce with Brandy and crushed peppercorns
TOURNEDOS MADERE 
Best part of the fillet served in a rich Madeira sauce and wild mushrooms.( Ideally served pink or rare)
